Huangdeng hydropower station is located in lanping county, yunnan province, which is developed by dike. It is the fifth stage hydropower station in the cascade development program from ancient water to miaowei river in the upper reaches of lancang river in yunnan province. Upstream and topa hydropower station, downstream and dahuaqiao hydropower station connection, dam site is located in yingpan town upstream.
